As an organisation, Growth and Development Group Limited has always been committed to developing the society. This has always been one of the major goals of the company sinceit's establishment.

It even shows in our slogan, which reads, Creating Wealth, Transforming Society. We have always had social impact at the forefront of our activities.

Recently, some members of staff, led by the Heads of Finance and Asset Management, took out time to visit an orphanage and an old people's home in Lagos. This visitation which has become a recurrent yearly activity makes up a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The event which happened on the 9th day of April in 2021 saw our staff leave the office with smiles in their faces as they were happy to be able to give back to the less privileged members of our immediate society.

After a short car trip to Ijora, we arrived at the first venue, Chosen Child Orphanage and Care Centre. We got to mingle with the kids for a while, played and prayed with them and distributed the gifts and donations we had brought with us.

Mrs Josephine Ernest-Ikechukwu, the Head of Asset Management shared the cash donation with the runners of the Orphanage and encouraged them to keep up the great work as the children are the future and we must protect this future however we can.

Our journey took us to Oke-Afa, Oshodi-Isolo where we met the runners of the Elderly People's Home, Centre for Happy Elderly People. We were pleased to meet with and be involved with people who are living such socially impactful lives.

The elderly were once the backbone of our society and the foundation on which it was built, now that they are old and frail, we must support them in this time of need.

The people in charge were shocked by our surprise visit and expressed joy at the donations and gifts.

It is important that organizations pay attention to the needs of society and help with as much as they can. A thriving society benefits everyone and we must do everything in our power to make sure our country is stable and thriving.
